Sault Chamber and Village Media to host 'Pride at 5'

The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Sault Pride and Village Media to host its next "Take 5: Love Local" event.

Scheduled for this Thursday between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., "Pride at 5" will be an evening of allyship, collaboration and empowerment.

"The Chamber of Commerce believes it is our responsibility to treat all people with dignity and promote a healthy and respectful workplace," the Chamber said, in an email to members. "By being an ally, you can contribute to building a workplace that is inclusive of everyone."

Hosted on the rooftop patio at Village Media's Queen Street headquarters — and catered by Peace Restaurant, with a cash bar — the event is open to everyone. However, people who want to attend MUST register in advance here.

People who don't register in advance will not be allowed in.
