The Grand Parade is a nationwide event overseen by the Blue Sea Foundation and was brought to Sault Ste. Marie by the F. J. Davey Home Foundation in 2021. Last year’s Grand Parade, which raised over $20,000 for the F. J. Davey Home residents, was a great start but the F. J. Davey Home Foundation have its sights set even higher this year.
“Last year’s Grand Parade was a huge success! We’re excited to bring it back, but this year, we want to make it bigger and better then ever.” Sue McLean, Chairperson of the F.J. Davey Home Foundation.
The F. J. Davey Home Foundation was formed in 2017 to raise money for purchasing essential medical equipment not funded by the Canadian government. Fundraising and donations are integral to making this happens, which is why we rely on the support of our local community.
