(EDITOR'S NOTE: SooToday.com News is soooo appreciative of our readers for not yammering at us for being late with this promised piece. We've had more news than we were able to handle, with all the boats smacking into lock walls, west-end residents being charged with smack possession, and so many City Council wannabes that we want to smack them all on the head with a wet tuna. Now that we've dealt with all those preliminaries, we're able to get down to the really important stuff.)
As we were telling you over the weekend, SooToday.com editorialist John David Cameron and local man-about-town Art Osborne were spotted at Value Village over the weekend, updating their winter wardrobes with the latest in rakish threads.
Our photo shows Cameron getting some much-needed advice from Carol Columbo, who claims the dubious title of 'wardrobe mistress' for the November 29 production of 1939: An Evening of Big Band Swing and Live Olde Time Radio, presented by Theatre in Motion.
It's a fundraiser for the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre and a whole gaggle of past and present broadcast personalities have been dragooned into service, including Cameron, Osborne, Russ Hilderly, Jim Cronin, Helen Petrolo, Joe Petrolo, Hans Geenen, Marg Turner, 'Uncle Albert' Jones with daughter Cheryl, John Chambers and Sue Barber.
Our paparazzo followed Osborne and Cameron through Value Village in seatch of suitable costumes for the dramatic production.
