Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will be in the Soo on Thursday for a press conference and a meet and greet.
He will be joined by Canadian Labour Congress President Bea Bruske and United Steelworkers National Director Marty Warren to speak about the need to fight for Canadian jobs.
The trio will be at the USW District 6 office first thing in the morning.

In the afternoon, Singh will host a meet and greet at Hogan's Homestead Cafe inside the Sault Ste. Marie Airport.
"Jagmeet has a packed schedule, including a visit to the mill, a press conference with steelworkers, and a call with the Premier of Manitoba. But he’s making time to meet with YOU!" the NDP wrote on Facebook.
The Facebook post said to arrive at 2:30 p.m. to give Singh "a warm Northern Ontario welcome."
