1 / 1 Steel City Nerdcon 2018 was held near Vintage Games ‘N Junque on Queen Street East, with many costumed attendees shopping for vinyl, comics, toys, board games and video games, art and books, Sept. 29, 2018. Vintage Games ‘N Junque owner Michael Turcotte, co-organizer of Steel City Nerdcon 2018 with wife Beth Davison, said the inaugural event surpassed expectations, with 31 vendors (including food vendors) from the Sault and across Ontario, and good attendance. An inaugural event, Turcotte said he anticipates next year’s event will be bigger and better, with an indoor venue. Darren Taylor/SooToday
