A letter issued by Algoma Public Health to members of the Boreal French Immersion Public School community says an individual associated with the school has tested positive for COVID-19.
APH is conducting an investigation to identify close contacts.
Anyone who is considered a low-risk or high-risk contact will be contacted by APH "to provide further guidance and direction."
"If you do not receive a low-risk and/or high-risk contact letter, you are not considered a close contact of the person who tested positive for COVID-19, in which case we go not reccomend testing unless you are showing symptoms of COVID-19," the APH letter states.
