The Roberta Bondar Pavilion played host to a longstanding rivalry between Ontario and Quebec lumberjacks today.

The Bon Soo RBC Royal Bank Lumberjack Show brought four main lumberjacks from Quebec and the London area.

For team Quebec: Jacques Le Touque(shown) and Guy Le Fou.

For team Ontario: Dale LeBritton and Heather Cleve. (In case you were wondering, yes, those are all stage names)

Master of ceremonies for the event was Stuart Brown from Barrie, Ontario.

Between the axe throwing; chainsaw, sawing and chopping contests, the lumberjacks threw in a little comedy.

Children from the audience were glad to help with timing for the event.

One audience helper for the afternoon had even arrived from England.
