SooToday received the following note from a frustrated Wellington East resident regarding overnight road scraping:

I'm writing on behalf of residents on Wellington St. East.
A mount of ice greeted at least one Wellington Street East resident this morningIt would be greatly appreciated if the city plans on scraping the streets down to the pavement, a heads up would be great.
My fiance has shoveled four driveways from 11-1:30 a.m.
Every person on Wellington, unless they have a monster truck, will not be able to to get to work after the mountain of snow they left.
There has to be more communication from the city if they're going to do major roads.
This (inset) is what we had to deal with.
