Sault MPP Ross Romano, Sault Police Service Chief Hugh Stevenson, Ward 1 City Councillor Sonny Spina, Village Media Director of Marketing & Communications Jasmyn Rowley, Sault Fire Services Deputy Chief of Fire Operations Mike Oliverio, Fire Chief Peter Johnson, Children’s Aid Society Executive Director Tracy Willoughby and Stone's Office Supply owner Marnie Stone with judges Noah Diaz, Violet Holley and Harper Boniferro at the Children’s Aid Society of Algoma Blindfolded Cookie Decorating Competition to kick off the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign.

Tim Hortons has kicked off its first-ever Holiday Smile Cookie campaign here in Sault Ste. Marie, with 100 per cent of the funds raised through sales of the cookies from now through November 19 being donated to the Children’s Aid Society of Algoma Kinship Service program.

The Kinship Service is a relatively new program which aims to place children with extended family members when circumstances are unsafe at home.

SooToday wants to not only support fundraising for our local CAS through the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign, but also put a smile on hundreds of people’s faces by donating the Smile Cookies purchased to local shelters, food banks and resource centres in Sault Ste. Marie.

How can you help us do that?

Simply comment below with your favourite item on the menu at Tim Hortons and for every comment we receive, we will buy a cookie - up to 500 of them!
