Coldest Night of the Year is coming up fast, and St. Vincent Place is reminding Saultites that there's still time to sign up.

The organization is looking to raise $100,000 this year.

Anyone who hasn't signed up and is interested can do so here.

For more information, see the press release below.

St. Vincent Place’s annual Coldest Night of the Year event is coming up fast, and we’d love to see you out walking with us on Feb. 22 to raise funds for St. Vincent Place’s programs that support those in need.

Our goal is to raise $100,000, but we need your help to hit it. There’s still time to sign up to join us at cnoy.org/saultstemarie. You can gather a group of friends, coworkers, or family and sign up a new team, or you can fundraise and walk on your own.

Remember that anyone who raises at least $150 (or $75 for youth) will receive a signature CNOY toque!

Event day is lots of fun, with face painting by Perfectly Painted Faces, professional photos by Brohart Family Photography, hot coffee courtesy of Starbucks, and warm bowls of chili paid for by Soapy’z Car Wash. The team at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum offers a warm and inviting rest stop along the way with snacks and hot chocolate provided by the Children’s Aid Society of Algoma.

St. Vincent Place would like to add a thank you to all of the local businesses sponsoring the event: S&T Group (Lead Sponsor), LBMX (Volunteer Sponsor), RM Frolich (Rest Stop Sponsor), and Assante Wealth Management, Avery Construction, Dawson & Keenan, JD Aero, Maitland Ford Lincoln, McDougall Energy, Northern Insurance Brokers, Savoy’s Jewellers, Wishart Law Firm, and YNCU (Community Sponsors), as well as Cliffe Printing (Goods & Services Sponsor).
