Environment Canada is calling for rain in areas north of the Sault this afternoon and tonight. 

Areas could see 30-50 mm of rain, which may start to come down heavy this afternoon.  

The following is a weather statement from Environment Canada: 

Special weather statement in effect for:

  • Agawa - Lake Superior Park  
  • Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay

30 to 50 mm of rain possible this afternoon and tonight.

Rain will start this morning from south and become heavy sometime this afternoon. Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm locally are possible by Tuesday morning.
