Nominations for the City’s annual Hallowe’en Spirit Awards are now being accepted.
This program promotes and encourages community involvement and recognizes the efforts of residents who decorate their homes and businesses in the spirit of Halloween.
There are two award categories – Residential and Business. There is a citywide residential category with first, second, and third-place winners and a business category with one citywide winner.
Judging will take place the week before Halloween. Nominations must include the civic address, telephone number, and the resident’s name. Any resident can submit a nomination, including self-nominations. Winners in the last year are not eligible. The deadline for entries is Friday, Oct. 18, at 4:30 p.m.
Nomination forms are available online. Completed forms can be emailed to [email protected] or addressed to the City Clerk – Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre. A complete list of properties will be available here.
