City accepts online payment for provincial act fines and parking tickets

SAULT STE. MARIE - Provincial Offences Act fines and parking tickets can now be paid online on the City of Sault Ste. Marie website.

This enhanced service will enable members of the general public to pay fines outside of the normal weekday operating hours of the Civic Centre.

To access this service simply go to www.cityssm.on.ca – select Quick Links – My Sault Ste. Marie located on the website homepage.

Click Pay a Parking or Provincial Offences Ticket.

You will need to have the current parking ticket or the Provincial Offences ticket at hand in order to complete the transaction.

A receipt will be issued once the transaction is processed.

Online fine payments will be accepted for infractions such as: parking at an expired meter or in a fire route, speeding, driving without a permit or proof of insurance, disobeying traffic signs as well as excessive noise, public intoxication or trespassing.

You may also pay fines if you have a Notice of Fine and Due Date.

Please note that online payments will be accepted using Visa or MasterCard credit cards only.
