This winter, the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library wants to help everyone stay warm through its second annual Giving Tree program.

From Nov. 14 to Dec. 31, winter items such as gloves, hats, scarves, and other accessories will be free for anyone who needs them.

The items will be available at both the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library on East Street downtown and the North Branch on Northern Avenue East.

Those in need can take what they need, no questions asked, while supplies last.

The community is welcome to donate new or gently used winter accessories for the tree by dropping their items off at either library location.

Items that have not been taken by Dec. 31 will be donated to community shelters and local organizations.

For more information, call Sarah at 705-759-5235.
