KidSport Sault Ste. Marie received a generous donation of $10,000 from GFL Environmental Inc., as part of their Full Circle Project.
This substantial contribution will directly support local children by covering the costs of registration fees and equipment for various sports, ensuring that
financial barriers don’t keep kids on the sidelines.
“We are incredibly thankful to GFL and their Full Circle Project for investing in our community and supporting our mission,” said Lauren Signoretti, chair of KidSport
Sault Ste. Marie, in a media release issued on Friday.
“Their generosity shows the true power of local businesses giving back to local charities. Every child deserves the chance to experience the joy and personal growth that come with playing sports, and GFL’s donation is helping to make that a reality here in Sault Ste. Marie.”
GFL’s Full Circle Project is a community-focused initiative that empowers the company and its customers to make a positive impact where they live and work, the release said.
