A Garden River man is looking forward to future adventures after winning $100,000.
Darcy Lesage matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order during the Jan. 31 Lotto 64/9 draw.
"I typically check my tickets when I have a stack to check — but this time I didn't wait," the 64-year-old shared while picking up his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
"I checked my ticket on the OLG app and heard the winning tune. I wondered if it was real!"
His wife was also skeptical, thinking it might be a scam.
“We brought it to the store to make sure it was real — even the clerk was excited," he smiled.
Lesage now plans to pay off his truck and travel with his family.
The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Bass Pro Mills Drive in Concord.
