Firefighters responded to an early morning garage fire on Sussex Road this morning, states a news release issued by Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services.
"Upon arrival, there were visible flames in the detached garage structure," the release says. "Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire."
There were no injuries reported in the incident, however the garage sustained significant damage as a result of the blaze.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but it is not believed to be suspicious in nature.
