Fire crews respond to incident at central area home (6 photos)

Sault Fire Services were seen airing out light plumes of smoke from a Reid St. residence

Fire crews were called to the 0-100 block of Reid St. for reports of a residential fire shortly after 6:30 p.m.

After arriving on scene, light smoke was visible in the proximity of the affected home, and a putrid smell could be identified from down the street.

Firefighters were observed airing out the residence to eliminate any remaining smoke inside the central area house.

There was no visible damage to the outside of the structure.

An ambulance arrived on scene shortly after to attend to at least one individual.  

The cause of the incident is unknown at this time, and no injuries have been reported.
