******************************* Day three advance vote results

A total of 814 voters came out to vote on the third and final day of advance voting for the 2010 City of Sault Ste. Marie municipal election.

Total voter turnout over three advance voting days was 2,260 or 3.9 percent percent of eligible voters.

The following is a summary of today’s advance vote by ward, as well as a summary of this year’s advance vote compared to advance voting in the 2006 municipal election:

The 2010 municipal election is being held on Monday, October 25, 2010.

Electors are reminded that new provincial law requires that voters provide identification when they vote.
