In a heartwarming display of generosity, the Sault Ste. Marie community rallied behind Northside Toyota's annual Fill The Tundra fundraiser, raising over $10,000 and collecting countless non-perishable food items to support local charities. The proceeds will benefit the Soup Kitchen and St. Vincent Place, providing much-needed aid to those facing hardship this holiday season.
Now in its 10th year, Fill The Tundra has grown into a powerful tradition, uniting residents and local businesses to combat food insecurity.
This year’s incredible success was made possible by the generosity of individuals and local sponsors, including ASAPP OXP, Fremlin Builders, Joe Ruscio Professional Corporation, Savoy’s Jewellers, SooToday, and Spadafora Johnson Lepore LLP.
“We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to the invaluable support of the community and local businesses that matched online donations,” says Mario Palumbo, Dealer Principal at Northside Toyota. “Your support not only sustains this tradition but ensures we can continue to make a meaningful difference in our community.”
“A special thank you goes to Rome’s, Pino’s, the U14 AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds, and Junior United Girls whose involvement has been instrumental in the event’s success.”
From all of us at Northside Toyota, we express our deepest gratitude to the community and our sponsors for their unwavering support over this holiday season. We look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.
