For the ninth year in a row the annual  Fill The Tundra fundraiser addressing local food insecurity achieved its goal.

Northside Toyota raised over $12,000 in online donations, along with an abundance of non-perishable food items at Rome’s and Pino’s over the last several weeks. These food items will provide crucial assistance to those facing hardship during the holiday season, a news release said.

Sponsors included ASAPP OXP, Fremlin Builders, Provenzano Law, Joe Ruscio Professional Corp., Soo Mill, SooToday, Spadafora Johnson Lepore LLP, and Stone Wealth Management Group.

“Once again this year we were able to exceed the previous year in food donations and monetary donations,” said Dealer Principal at Northside Toyota Mario Palumbo. “We want to say thank you to everyone for their contributions and generosity during the holiday season. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.

“A special thank you goes to Rome’s, Pino’s, and the U14 AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds for once again taking part in this excellent tradition. We look forward to next year, which will be the 10th anniversary of this wonderful event."
