The Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) Cancer Care Fund received over $47,000 thanks to a record-breaking Evening at Hogwarts fundraiser.
The 5th annual event raised $47,294.47 for the hospital foundation while drawing hundreds of local Harry Potter enthusiasts in a powerful show of community strength and support.
“This unforgettable evening was made possible by the incredible support of our community and the dedication of our remarkable volunteers,” said Megan Becker, Committee Co-Chair of An Evening at Hogwarts: SSM in a news release issued today.
“Their tireless efforts, combined with the generosity of our sponsors and guests, reflect the resilience and compassion that define this event. We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support in the fight against cancer.”

The magical charm of Hogwarts came alive once again at the 5th annual An Evening at Hogwarts SSM: The Order of the Phoenix fundraiser, breaking previous records by raising $47,294.47 for the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) Cancer Care Fund.
This enchanting event transformed the Machine Shop, drawing hundreds of local Harry Potter enthusiasts in a powerful show of community strength and support. From generous sponsors to ticket holders, vendors and volunteers, everyone’s dedication brought renewed purpose and energy to the shared mission of improving cancer care in the Algoma region.

An Evening at Hogwarts: SSM has continued to grow as a beloved annual event, bringing a sense of magic and hope to the Algoma region. Since its inception, this fundraiser has raised over $184,000 to support local cancer care initiatives, providing strength and hope to local patients and their families.
