Doing spring cleaning? Here's when waste, leaves will be picked up

Residents are reminded of the 2019 seasonal schedules for Leaf and Yard Waste, City Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot Collection.

Leaf and Yard Waste Collection

• Start date collection for Route A scheduled to begin on April 30 has been postponed due to weather conditions. Please note that Leaf and Yard Waste collection will begin on May 6 with Route B and will run until Nov. 22, 2019 (weather permitting).
• To view the collection calendar and see which week your collection will be, visit saultstemarie.ca/leafyardwaste.

City Landfill

• Open April 1 to Oct. 26, 2019 – Monday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Winter hours Oct. 28 to Dec. 31, 2019 – Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30 p.m.
