Winter in the north is always an amazing site to see, and what better way to enjoy it than joining us at our 7th annual Chocolate Express on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024 at Stokely Creek Lodge.

Experience our local winter wonderland with your family and friends!

Last year, over 500 participants skied and snowshoed in a memorable afternoon of delicious treats and lighthearted fun.

The Chocolate Express features a 2km or 5km snowshoe loop, or 2km, 5km, and 10km ski trails.

Chocolate stations, where participants can enjoy homemade sweets guaranteed to entice your sweet tooth, will be along each of these trails.

As Trail Sponsor, Maitland Ford Lincoln is providing a shuttle service to bring people to and from Stokely Creek Lodge.

Participants simply park at Mountain View Elementary School (Mahler Road, Goulais River) and the team at Maitland will run the shuttles back and forth from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m.

“Chocolate Express is one of our events that seems to keep growing each year, and we love it! Having the team at Maitland Ford as our Trail Sponsor, and providing shuttle service for the third year is absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure that our participants, and their gear not only arrive safely to Stokely Creek Lodge, but ensure they experience is memorable. They are a great team to work with!”
