Crime Stoppers has a tip: Their phone may be wonky for a bit

The local Crime Stoppers branch is moving into the new downtown police division at 180 Brock St. — but in the meantime, the organization has some news.

"Due to the temporary relocation of our office, our contact number 705-942-7867 may experience disruptions for the next few weeks," says a brief news release from the organization. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you need to reach Crime Stoppers during this time, please call us at 1-800-222-8477 or submit information through our website. We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this transition period."

For July and August, the Crime Stoppers "Trip of the Month" draw will also be moving locations: to Sault Police headquarters at 580 Second Line East.

"The location change is a temporary measure to ensure the continuity of our monthly draws while our new office is being finalized," the release continues. "We are excited about this move and look forward to Division Two's opening."
