COVID-19 cases at Sault schools, by the numbers

Numbers released today through an Ontario government website show a total of 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19 among staff and students in Sault Ste. Marie schools. 

The majority of the case stem from two declared outbreaks at Grand View Public School and River View Public School. 

Here's a rundown of all reported cases that have been disclosed by the province: 

• Grand View Public School: Seven students, one staff member
• River View Public School: Eight students, one staff member
• East View Public School: Two students
• Holy Cross Catholic School: One student 

There are currently 58 active COVID-19 cases in the Algoma Public Health region.
