Celebrity chef Christine Cushing will be holding an in-person workshop with students at St. Mary's College on Friday morning.
The students will get hands-on experience and work with Cushing as part of the workshop.
Hosted by the St. Mary's College High Skills Major program, the workshop will give students a chance to learn more about the culinary and hospitality industry.
An award-winning chef featured on Food Network Canada, Cushing has been showing viewers how to cook with love for more than 20 years. She is followed by hundreds of thousands of fans across the globe on her YouTube channel "My Favourite Foods.”
She will also be in Sault Ste. Marie for the Algoma Fall Festival.
She was a judge on the Food Network programs Wall of Chefs and Wall of Bakers. She also won the 2020 Taste Award for "Best Chef" in a TV series for her food, travel documentary series :Confucius Was a Foodie," which is now airing on PBS and Nat Geo.
Cushing has published three best-selling cookbooks: Dish it Out, Fearless in the Kitchen, and Pure Food.
