Sault native Pat King appeared briefly in an Ottawa courtroom Saturday morning,

He's facing four criminal charges related to the trucker convoy protest in Ottawa: mischief, counselling to commit the offence of mischief, counselling to commit the offence of disobeying a court order, and counselling to commit the offence of obstruct police.

A bail hearing was set for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, CBC News is reporting.

King wore a "green camouflage jacket with a grey sweater and appeared relaxed," CBC said.

Police are continuing their efforts to clear protesters from downtown Ottawa.
