Sault Ste. Marie Police Constable Donald Doucet, who died during patrol on Mother's Day 2006, was among fallen officers honoured during a ceremony Sunday at Queen's Park.

Ontario government remembers fallen officers at Ceremony of Remembrance
Premier Kathleen Wynne honoured two fallen police officers whose names were added to the Ontario Police Memorial at Queen's Park [Sunday].
The 14th annual Ceremony of Remembrance paid tribute to Constable Jennifer Kovach of the Guelph Police Service, who was killed in the line of duty in March, 2013.
It also recognized the service of Constable William Rourke, a 22-year veteran of the Cobourg Police who died in service in 1915.
He was selected for this honour through historical research.
Ceremony guests included members of police services and associations from across Ontario, Canada and the United States.
Staff Sergeant Scott Grover of the Guelph Police Service acted as the Master of Ceremonies.
The CN Tower [was] illuminated in blue the weekend of May 5 to honour all fallen Ontario police officers.
There are 253 names of fallen officers on the memorial dating back to 1804.
Rogers TV will broadcast the Ceremony of Remembrance on Sunday, May 12.
