This year's list of Sault College numbers just over 1,000.
In two ceremonies today, 1,030 students will graduate from in two convocation ceremonies taking place at the Essar Centre.
At 10 a.m. students in the schools of business, culinary and hospitality, aviation, engineering technology, information technology, media and design, natural environment and outdoor studies and skilled trades, as well as the continuing education programs walked the walk to convocation.
At 2 p.m. students in community services, criminal justice, general arts and science and health programs, and continuing education programs will graduate.
Among this year's graduates are Laura Caputo – daughter of Sault College Professor Frank Caputo, and Laura Kistemaker.
Both are graduates of the BScN program and have been accepted into the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (Sudbury campus).
The keynote speaker for convocation this year is Craig MacFarlane, previously from the Algoma but now living in the United States.
All members of the public are welcome to share in the celebration of success.
