On June 5, the Sault Community Career Centre will be hosting a job fair in partnership with Searchmont Resort.
The job fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sault Community Career Centre on Queen Street.
Searchmont Resort will be catering for the Agawa Tour Train from July to October and is looking to hire 15 to 20 food and beverage attendants for the season.
The positions are full-time and contract, with a start date planned for July 24 with the potential for continued employment during the winter season at Searchmont Resort.
Job description and key responsibilities:
- Taking orders, preparing food, minor cooking, plating, and serving food and alcohol
- Delivering excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Kitchen and serving experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling certifications are mandatory
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the 429 Carmen’s Way job site at 5:45 a.m.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends
Compensation:
- Wage dependent on experience, plus tips
