SAULT STE. MARIE - On Dec. 5, 2016 Steve Paikin, Host of TVO’s The Agenda with Steve Paikin, will visit Sault Ste. Marie for an evening in celebration of his new book, Bill Davis, Nation Builder and Not So Bland After All at Algoma’s Water Tower Inn and Suites at 7:30 p.m.

Hosted by Wishart Law Firm and Algoma’s Water Tower Inn and Suites, this $10 event will explore this best-selling book offering a unique perspective on Ontario’s longest serving premier of the 20th Century, Bill Davis.

Those wishing to attend should contact event coordinator Matthew Shoemaker at [email protected] or at 705-971-6631.

A journalistic veteran for over 30 years, Paikin’s style is insightful and conversational.

His book, Bill Davis, Nation Builder and Not So Bland After All offers the only account of Bill Davis’ time in office that has had full access to the former Premier’s personal papers and insight.

“It is an honour to be able to bring engaging public figures, such as Mr. Paikin, to our community and to receive intelligent insights on the people who have shaped our province and our lives,” says Donna Hilsinger from Algoma’s Water Tower Inn and Suites.

Limited seating is available for this event.

Books will be available for purchase at the event. Proceeds from this $10 event will benefit Thrive Child Development Centre (formerly Children’s Rehabilitation Centre Algoma).
