As the City of Sault Ste. Marie continues to dig out from the significant amount of snow, garbage and recycling collection will be delayed on Monday, Dec. 2, and will be one day late for the remainder of the week.

The Landfill is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
To aid in snowfall removal efforts, do not place garbage or recycling carts at the curb overnight before collection, the city said in a release.
The city thanked residents for their understanding and cooperation during this challenging time.
