The City of Sault Ste. Marie is providing an update on its response to the large amount of snow that has fallen over the last few days and the snow that’s on the way.

“Cutting snowpack on the arterial and collector roadways is completed,” the city said in a social media post on Tuesday afternoon.

“We are aware that the subdivisions and sidewalks require additional attention. Public works staff will be working through these areas this evening into the morning,” the Facebook post said.

There is snow forecasted through the night “that may divert operators back on the arterial roadways. We do thank you for your ongoing patience.”
