This award, sponsored by MCTV, is presented to a business that raises customer service to new standards of excellence and is a model for other businesses in the community to follow.

Over 70 years ago, the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Center was established on the very solid foundation based on customer service and personal relationship.
Their business is not one that you work at for 40 hours a week.
They are called to provide service to their community whenever, whatever or however the call may come.
Trust and service has been the cornerstone of their business.
Since their beginning their philosophy has not changed and they continue to work very hard to service their clients and our community with class, compassion and dignity.
They have the priviledge of serving families from two beautiful locations.
The staff at the Arthur and Barton & Kiteley Funeral homes are available to our community 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Their staff is well trained and leaders in the profession of providing quality care to the families they serve.
Making funerals personal is the main difference between their funeral homes and their competitors.
In 1999 they introduced their pre-need program to address the biggest growing trend in their profession, the desire to include pre-arranged funerals with estate planning.
More recently, with the assistance of customer feedback and surveys, a major overhaul was completed by their company.
They introduced the Funeral Guide to give families more information to become a resource to them regarding funerals.
The whole process has grown to a less intimidating experience that the consumer now feels more involved and has many more options to choose from.
Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Center is now a full-service funeral home looking after pre-need, at-need and after-care for the families they serve.
Their customer service extends beyond the bereaved families they serve.
They work closely with churches, government agencies, Board of Education, the coroner and City and provincial police.
In addition they also contribute extensively and are very involved in the community and take pride in giving back where they can.
