Chapter one of kids' summer reading club starts today

The TD Kids' Summer Reading Club officially kicks off today.

The Cosmic Adventure Reading Club, which is for children 12 and under, is now open at both locations of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library.

Throughout the summer, children complete reading challenges at their own pace while earning badges and helping their team win.

The reading club wraps up at the end of August with a party and prize draws.

Additionally, beginning in July, weekly space-themed crafts and activities will be available for kids at both library locations: the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library on East Street and North Branch Library on Northern Avenue East.
