Random act of embarrassment: Help us celebrate a special person’s 40th birthday

Village Media is thrilled to announce a special celebration for our very own Jasmyn Rowley, who turns the big 4-0 tomorrow!

A cornerstone of Village Media for over a decade, Jasmyn has been one of the driving forces behind our company, consistently bringing her dedication, passion and vibrant personality to the forefront.

For readers of SooToday, Jasmyn is best-known as the public face of our Random Acts of Kindness program, which spreads joy, goodwill and a helping hand during the Christmas season.

As Village Media's director of marketing and communications, she also works tirelessly behind the scenes on community initiatives that help make the Sault — and all the cities and towns we serve — better places to live. 

Although Jasmyn would have preferred that her 40th birthday passed without any publicity, we couldn't help ourselves. This time, she's the one on the other end of the surprise.

“Jasmyn has been an integral part of our team, and her work has significantly impacted our community,” said Jeff Elgie, Village Media's CEO. “We couldn’t think of a better way to show our appreciation than by celebrating her birthday and acknowledging all she has done for us.”
