The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre (CBHC) is currently accepting applications for two openings on its board of directors.
Applicants of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including those with experience in Indigenous heritage, aviation operations, business management, tourism, property maintenance, legal expertise, fundraising and aircraft restoration.
Board members are committed to a three-year term.
Requirements for being on the board include monthly board meeting attendance, involvement in committees and fundraising events, as well as an individual membership purchase upon selection.
Applications can be submitted online by Jan. 31.
A selection committee will review applications, conduct interviews and shortlist candidates and the board, along with the centre’s members, will finalize selections at its Annual General Meeting in June.
