Members of the local Women’s Hockey League (WHL) will be on hand during tomorrow's Rotary Community Day Parade collecting hockey equipment donations for their Stuff the Truck equipment drive.

Parade attendees are encouraged to clean out their closets and bring any new and gently used hockey equipment which will be collected by WHL members along the parade route.

All collected equipment will be donated to various local organizations, including:
    •    Local children in need of gear
    •    The local sledge hockey league
    •    A startup hockey association for neurodivergent children

"Any remaining equipment will be available at the WHL equipment swap, ensuring that all donations find a new home and help foster the love of hockey in our community," says a news release issued by the WHL.

"We are thrilled to be part of the Rotary Community Parade and to give back to our community through the Stuff the Truck drive. This initiative not only supports local hockey players but also promotes inclusivity and accessibility in the sport."
