We have a few job-jumpers to tell you about today.
First, Brenda Stenta, known to just about everybody from the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce, has joined Algoma Steel as manager, corporate relations.
Stenta, who has a business degree from the University of Western Ontario and ten years' experience in communications and project management, will be in charge of ASI's internal and external communications, as well as working with the company's community volunteer groups.
Back at the Chamber of Commerce, Shelley Barich will be assuming Stenta's former job as assistant manager.
Shelley's been serving the local chamber for 17 years.
Joining the chamber as full-time communications and events officer is Don Ferguson.
Ferguson has previously worked for the chamber on a contract basis.
The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce started in 1889 and currently has 900 members.
