Just Junk Sault Ste. Marie will once again pick up old Christmas trees free of charge during the first weekend of January within city limits.
“All we ask is that people have their tree at the end of the driveway on Saturday, Jan 4 and we will make our way at some point in the day to pick it up,” said Jason Biggar, owner of Just Junk SSM, adding that it will be a busy 12-hour day.
“We do about 130 trees in one day. All trees are then brought to the Cambrian Mall Clean North Tree depot for chipping,” he said.
To schedule your tree removal pickup online, visit this page and then put your tree at the curb or in your driveway by the appropriate time.
A Just Junk representative will call to confirm the pickup before Dec. 31.
