Blizzard warning in effect for:
- Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island
Blizzard conditions with very strong winds expected to continue through midday.
Snow combining with strong northwesterly winds gusting to 60 or 70 km/h will produce dangerous whiteout conditions at times through midday.
The most significant aspect continues to be the widespread whiteout conditions and not from the snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm that are possible.
The strong winds will ease this afternoon and this blizzard will come to an end.
Travel is expected to be extremely hazardous due to reduced visibility. Road closures are possible.

Blowing snow advisory in effect for:
- Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay
Sudden very low visibilities in frequent blowing snow today.
Flurries and strong west to northwest winds with gusts of 60 to 80 km/h are expected today. Any fresh snow will be whipped up by the winds creating areas of reduced visibilities, particularly in exposed areas. Snowfall accumulations are expected to be light.
Conditions will slowly improve this afternoon as winds begin to ease.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
