What's being described as a black mannequin was found hanging from a utility pole in the area of Penno Road and St. Patrick Street Thursday.

A community member, who requested anonymity due to concerns for their safety, posted a photo of what they saw to social media, eliciting a number of comments expressing shock and horror over the image.

"Trying not to go full Karen," reads the social media post. "I'm not taking this post down. This will never end if we don't say something."

PUC confirmed the object was taken down from its utility pole by the homeowner Friday morning after a complaint was lodged by one of its customers.

"We dispatched a crew to investigate, at which point they were able to contact the homeowner and inform them that it needs to be taken down immediately," PUC spokesperson Jairus Patterson told SooToday Friday.
