Tough people do win, it turns out. But in this case, so does their arch rival.
Korah Collegiate and St. Mary’s College can both lay claim to the title of Sault’s top high school after achieving the exact same score in the Fraser Institute’s latest annual ranking of Ontario secondary institutions.
Both Korah and St. Mary’s placed 378th out of 689 high schools across the province, with an overall rating of 6 out of 10.
Next on the list of local high schools is Notre-Dame-du-Sault (394), followed by Superior Heights (425) and White Pines (562).
Released every year by the Vancouver-based think tank, the ranking is based on six criteria, including Grade 9 EQAO math scores and Ontario Secondary School Literacy Tests.
