Bellevue Marina upgrade makes boat launches even easier

Marina officially opens on Victoria Day weekend; launch passes now dispensed from machine that accepts coins, debit and credit cards

Local boaters take note!

The Bellevue Marina, located at the foot of Pine Street, officially opens this Saturday, just in time for the Victoria Day long weekend.

And it's now easier to obtain daily launch passes with the installation of a new daily launch dispenser machine which accepts coins, debit, and credit cards. Boaters can also use the Passport Parking mobile app.

The Bellevue Marina and boat launch officially opens Saturday, May 20 with a new daily launch dispenser machines to accept coins, debit, and credit cards. There is a flat rate of $7 per day.

Boaters can also pay through the Passport Parking mobile app using zone 3759, with on-site signage available to assist. Seasonal passes are available online or at the Civic Centre for unlimited usage during the operating season when parking enforcement is in effect.

"We are thrilled to be opening our marina this year with a new launch dispenser to better serve our boating community with easier payment options," said Rick Borean, supervisor of community services. “Marinas are an essential part of the community, providing a safe and convenient place for boaters to dock their vessels and enjoy the water."

The Bellevue marina is a picturesque facility located at the foot of Pine Street offering 155 serviced and unserviced slips for water vehicles ranging from 20 ft. to 40 ft. Residents and tourists alike can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Great Lakes and make use of various services available including diesel and unleaded fuel, oil, ice, pump-out unit, Wi-Fi, restrooms, and shower facilities. Additionally, this marina is a Canada Customs check-in point.
