Assault reported at Thanksgiving Weekend gathering

Forty-seven-year-old Constance Green of #1-120 Andrew Street was arrested on the 10th of October at 9:25 p.m. at a downtown residence and charged with one count of assault.

It is alleged that on the 10th of October at approximately 9:15 p.m., the accused assaulted a female while at a gathering at a West End residence.

The victim received non-life-threatening injuries that did not require medical attention.

She is to appear in court on the 16th of November.

************************* 53 year-old David Sweezey of 265 Alexandra Street was arrested on the 9th of October at 2:05 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 29th of August at approximately 6:30 am the accused assaulted a fellow employee while at their workplace. The victim received non-life threatening injuries that did not require medical attention.
