APH reports three new cases of COVID-19 in Sault Ste. Marie

All three individuals were tested on Nov. 3 and are self-isolating

Algoma Public Health is reporting three new COVID-19 in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

There have been 556 cases in the Algoma Public Health region since the beginning of the pandemic.

Two of the cases have been classified as close contact, meaning they had been in contact with a known case of COVID-19.

The third case is of unknown origins.

All three individuals were tested on Nov. 3 and are self-isolating. 

There are 49 active cases in the Algoma Public Health region and two hospitalizations.

Regions in APH that have reported COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days:

  • Sault Ste. Marie and area
  • North Algoma
