*********************** Another crash involving an animal

Goulais River, Ont. - Sault Ste. Marie OPP have investigated another crash involving a large animal on Highway 17 north of Sault Ste. Marie.

On Saturday afternoon at about 2:30 p.m. a pickup truck was southbound on Highway 17 just south of Havilland Shores Drive.

The vehicle struck and killed a deer that was crossing Highway 17.

No one in the truck was injured and a tow truck was not needed.
