Algoma University is launching an experimental learning platform meant to support its students while they build their communication and career skills online.

In a news release issued recently, the Career and Experiential Education (CEE) department at Algoma University introduced InStage, which uses AI to create realistic conversational simulations tailored to each student.

“We’re always looking for new ways to support our student’s success,” said Jonathan Coulman, Manager of Career Education and Employability in the Department of Career and Experiential Education (CEE) in the news release.

“With InStage, we’re giving our students an incredible opportunity to practice and improve in a safe, engaging environment that mimics real-world scenarios. The platform helps them refine their communication and interview skills and builds their confidence to handle high-pressure situations.

"Whether preparing for their first job interview, practicing presentations, or building networking skills, InStage empowers our students to stand out and present their best selves when it matters most. It’s one more way to ensure they have the tools and support they need to achieve their career goals.”
