Algoma Ride for Autism celebrates 10 years of support (11 photos)

Approximately 200 motorcyclists took to the road to raise money for the Algoma Autism Foundation as part of the celebration

Motorcyclists from across the area gathered at Strathclair Park Saturday morning to kick off the 10th annual Algoma Ride for Autism.

The initiative has helped support those with autism spectrum disorder in the Algoma district for the last 10 years.

Participants registered for the ride between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m to get ready for the trek that would eventually conclude at the Esquire Club.

By 11:30 a.m., around 200 bikers took off from Strathclair.

Each rider donated at least $20 to participate, and all the money collected will go directly to the Algoma Autism Foundation.
